Dearest clients and friends!
I hope all of you are staying safe and well during these unprecedented times. This has been an experience that we could never have imagined. Hopefully our days ahead will get better sooner than later.
I would like to thank many of you for your loyalty and ongoing support by continuing to purchase your skincare products. Many of you have also reached out to say hello and this means a lot! I have missed you all dearly!
As many salons and spas begin the process of re-opening I want to let you know what changes Beautopia have made.
For your safety:
- I have studied the provincial guidelines and have ensured that not only do I meet the standards, but also have exceeded them wherever I can, I will enhance the safety of my clientele while delivering a relaxing and pleasurable visit.
- There will be a safe visit protocol questionnaire posted on the door for every client to answer before they enter.
- I have completely sanitized the salon – all furniture, equipment, tools, and supplies before re-opening.
- I have a full sanitization routine of cleaning the workstation furniture, tools, and implements between each and every client to ensure your safety.
- I have taken training on disinfection, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
- I have installed signage reminding everyone of the new rules and safety standards. These signs our on the front door, at the reception desk, and inside the washroom.
- I have installed a HEPA air purifier and extractor fan to the room. It will run for 15 minutes between each client.
- I will only serve one client at a time. Please note that you must come alone (no escort, spouse, friend, kids, pets).
- Please arrive for your appointment ON TIME (no more than five minutes early). The waiting area is currently closed and no coat rack will be available.
- If necessary, please bring your own shopping bag that you can keep all of your belongings in. This will keep them safe from contracting anything.
- Upon arrival, please wash your hands for a minimum of 30 seconds or use the hand disinfecting gel.
- For services that allow it, please wear a mask for the duration of your visit (if you don’t have a mask I can supply you one at a minimal cost).
- You may wear your own gloves if you wish, I do not have enough stock to supply to clients and for my use.
- All magazines have also been removed for your safety.
The spa area now has:
- A sneeze guard installed at the manicure table.
- Hand disinfecting gel at the reception desk and at every workstation.
- Antibacterial hand soap available at all handwashing stations & the washroom
- The washroom has single-use paper towels only.
I will always be wearing proper PPE including masks, gloves, a face shield, plastic arm sleeves, plastic apron, and protective goggles.
Extra time will be given between clients’ appointments to allow me to clean the spa. So I may not be able to accommodate your favourite time slot at this time.
Retail products are still available, please ask for assistance and I will prepare your order.
Due to the many services I offer, I have been in touch with many of my suppliers to learn the new infection control and safety standards for each and every service I offer.
